(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Partly cloudy to cloudy weather is expected on Wednesday with a chance for scattered showers in the morning hours, especially in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), the weather will gradually stabilize in the afternoon, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk .
A rise in temperatures is forecast on Thursday, but they will remain below their annual average by 2-3 degrees; therefore the weather will be mild in the hilly areas and moderate in the Badia, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate with clouds at high altitudes, the JMD added.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Friday with low clouds and westerly to northwesterly moderate winds.
Temperatures expected in Amman over the next three days will reach a high of 20 degrees Celsius and a low of 15 degrees.
