(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) US President Barack Obama told the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, that Washington ended an arms ban on Egypt.
The Weapons transfers to Egypt include F-16 aircraft, Harpoon missiles and M1 A1 tank kits.
Obama told Al-Sisi in a phone call that he will continue to request an annual $1.3 billion in military assistance for Egypt, according to the White House.
The two leaders also discussed bilateral relations and the latest development in Yemen and Libya.
