(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Saudi Olympic Soccer Team today qualified for Asia Cup under 23 after beating host Iran 2-1 at Azadi stadium in Tehran.
Abdulfattah Asiri opened the scoring at 70th minute before his team-mate Abdulrahman Al-Ghamdi added the second in the 82nd. Later in the 88th minute, Iran's team reduced the difference.
The result pushes the Saudi team to the 10th point, officially announcing it a qualifier to the Asian cup with Iran in the second place with nine points.
