Qatar Airways to increase flights to Jakarta, Bali

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Airways will boost its flight frequencies to Jakarta and Denpasar (Bali) from July 5 and July 16, respectively to meet the ever-increasing demand on these popular routes.

The total number of weekly flights to the Indonesian capital city will rise to 21 making it a thrice-daily service, while for Denpasar, Qatar Airways will commence a full twice-daily operation from July 16, the airline said in a press release Tuesday.

The increased frequency between Jakarta and Doha will offer greater connectivity to popular routes in Europe and the Americas for both business and leisure passengers, while travellers who enjoy the casual ambience of Bali will be happy to know they have double the flight options to choose from when arriving and departing into Denpasar.

"We remain committed to growing the Indonesian market and are delighted to announce the increase in flight frequencies to both Jakarta and Denpasar. With our enhanced flight schedules, superior in-flight product and the state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport, we continue to offer our passengers a five-star service throughout their entire travel experience," said Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker.

As one of the fastest growing airlines in the world, Qatar Airways has experienced rapid growth in just 18 years of operation. Today it flies a modern fleet of 150 aircraft to 146 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America.
