'Parrot does not speak'


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY March 31: Two Kuwaitis have been referred to the Andalus Police Station for fighting over a parrot that does not speak reports Al-Shahed daily. A security source said police rushed to parking lot of a hotel in Al-Riqqa after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received a call about a fight between the two men. One of the persons claimed he bought a 'talking' parrot for KD 250 from the other when he offered it for sale on the social media site. However the parrot turned out to belong to the species that does not talk. So the buyer asked the seller to return the money and the latter refused.

Shepherd's revenge: A Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the Kabd Police Station accusing his Sudanese shepherd of poisoning three camels following a dispute between them reports Al-Shahed daily. When the shepherd was summoned for interrogation he denied the allegation. He told police he does not know the cause of death. Police are investigating the incident.

Women attempts suicide: An unidentified young woman was admitted to the Adan Hospital following a void attempt to commit suicide reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added the woman reportedly shot herself in the neck with an air rifle. Police rushed to the family home after someone called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry and found the victim lying on the bed and the gun by her side. The mother said the girl attempted suicide because she lost her best friend three years ago.

Criminal record altered: A police colonel allegedly attempted to forge a criminal record of one of his relatives and gave him a clean chit. The report was to be submitted to the United Kingdom reports Al-Shahed daily. An employee at the Criminal Evidences Department discovered the forgery and tore the record to protect the officer
