QOC honours Qatari athletes in Doha
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani is seen with Qatari athletes who bagged medals at the 4th GCC Women's Games 2015 held from March 8 to 18 in Muscat, Oman.
In the prestigious event, Qatari athletes produced impressive performances, winning a total of 30 medals including 4 gold, 12 silver and 14 bronze. The Qatari women teams took part in 10 disciplines including volleyball, shooting (pistol), taekwondo, bowling, athletics for people with special needs, athletics, basketball, equestrian, tennis and handball.
