Sudden Power Outage in Turkey Takes Out 13 Provinces
(MENAFN- QNA) A power outage that took place Tuesday in Turkey took out electricity in as many as 13 of its provinces.
Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that the power cut was likely caused by technical issues. He announced that the government has formed an emergency cell in the Ministry of energy to deal with the problem.
The power outage hit the business Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir. Energy Minister Taner Yildiz did not rule out a cyber-attack. He adding that the cause for the blackout was currently under investigation.
