Abu Dhabi sponsored firm sells USD335m London properties

(MENAFN) A US private equity company, in which UAE's Mubadala Development Company owns a 7.5 percent portion and goes by the name of Carlyle Group, sold USD335 million London properties, Arabian Business reported.

The assets included in the sale are Ludgate House and Sampson House, two workplace buildings, and an adjacent residential building that goes by the name of Falcon Point.

One buyer is Hotel Properties Limited, a Singapore-listed firm, which settled a deal with Carlyle Group to purchase both Bankside properties. The finalizing of the deal is set to occur in May.

"The investment will allow the HPL Group to expand its property portfolio in Southbank, Central London by way of the acquisition of the Properties," Hotel Properties said in a statement.
