Oman Suffers Crushing Loss
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman suffered a crushing 1-4 defeat at the hands of Algeria in a friendly football encounter at the Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar on Monday night.
Algeria took a 2-0 lead at half-time following goals from Ishak Belfodil (2nd minute) and Sofiane Feghouli (24th).
In the second half, both Belfodil and Feghouli scored a goal each again - in the 61st and 62nd minutes, respectively - to seal a convincing victory for the Algerians.
Oman found a consolation goal through Suliman al Busaidi in the 74th minute.
