(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Ministry of Health announced today that eight persons, whose ages range from 20-65, have tested positive of Corona virus in a number of urban centers in the Kingdom over the period from 2-8 Jumada 2436 corresponding to March 22 - 28, 2015.
A statement by MOH said the patients belong to Saudi Arabia (3) and one from each of Yemen, The Philippines, The Sudan, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Three cases took place in Riyadh and one in each of Jeddah, Makkah, Taif, Najran and the Northern border, it added.
The ministry said that four cases were spotted at health facilities affiliated to the Ministry while the other four emerged at private sector facilities.
The report said the Preventive Medicine teams have conducted visits to nine suspects at their homes and rounded up as many as 102 home companions whose cases are being followed-up until the virus immune period ends.
