Riyadh governor to open STTIM
(MENAFN- Arab News) Prince Faisal bin Bandar, Riyadh governor and chairman of the Riyadh Tourism Development Council, will open the 8th session of the Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Forum (STTIM-2015) on Sunday (March 29) at the InterContinental Hotel.
The forum, to run through April 3, will feature a program, including various activities like conferences, in addition to the exhibition. There will be a scientific forum to be participated in by business leaders, public and private officials, among others.
The forum will feature several themes such as tourism finance and investment, business tourism, antiquities and museums, investment in urban heritage, investment in entertainment in the Kingdom, national human resources tourism, and specialized tourism accommodation.
The exhibition will see a remarkable upgrade in its organization, services and exhibitors from national and international firms.
The exhibition site will feature 26 lectures and workshops on heritage and popular restaurants management - Jordanian experience, how to utilize advertisement for your facility, how to utilize customers in development of project, how to market tourist facility through the Internet, and how to develop tourist services in convention and exhibition."
Two workshops will be held at the end of the STTIM 2015 on Friday on the social media and experiences in management of online reservation in the Kingdom.
The Riyadh International Exhibition Center (RCCI) will host STTIM-2015's major exhibition, in addition to a number of lectures, training and scientific workshops besides the Tourism Excellence Award 20115 distribution ceremony to be held with the support of Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA).
The STTIM-2015 is considered the biggest annual occasion for the tourism industry in the Kingdom. It brings together investors, operators of tourism facilities and services, developers and leaders of tourism destinations and the public departments, among others.
