UAE firms consider further investments in Egypt


(MENAFN) Arabtec, a UAE construction firm, and Abu Dhabi-based Arabtec are set to increase their businesses in Egypt, according to the chairman of both companies, Arabian Business reported.

Under the country's current presidency, Egypt is aiming at reestablishing its economy with a pledge from the UAE of supplying USD12 billion in aid for Egypt.

"Egypt will play a big role in our portfolio in the future and Egypt, with respect to the challenges, is really a promising country," the chairman of both Arabtec and Aabar said in an interview.
