Qatar's Ooredoo logs USD9.05b revenue for 2014


(MENAFN) Ooredoo, the Qatari brand name telecommunications provider, recorded USD9.05 billion revenue for 2014, marking a 2 percent decrease against 2013's revenue, The Peninsula reported.

The firm's EBITDA froze at USD3.29 billion in addition to a decreased EBITDA margin by 39 percent ensued by continuous premeditated investments into broadband networks and customer acquisition.

Net profit attributable to shareholders was recorded at USD548.92 million in 2014, showing significant increase over the USD686.15 million profit of the previous year.
