(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Al Arabi recorded a routing 1-0 victory over Al Shahaniya in the 22nd round of Qatar Stars League.
Ashkan Dejajah clinched the only goal of the match in the 42nd minute of the first half. Al Arabi raised their point tally with 29 points, but remain nine points off fourth-placed Al Jaish. Al Shahaniya on the other hand remain in 12th place with 18 points.
In another game in Qatar Stars League, Al Shamal defeated Al Khor 1-0. Moumouni Dagano clinched the victory for his side with a goal he scored in the 12th minute.
Al Shamal are bottom of the table with 10 points, while Al Khor are in 10th with 26 points.
