Turkish technology exhibition in Oct

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) An exhibition showcasing Turkish technology and defence systems is scheduled to be held in Doha in October.

The "High Tech Port 2015" exhibition will be organised by the Association of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen (MUSIAD) of Turkey, said a MUSIAD delegation during a visit to the Qatar Chamber (QC). The delegation, headed by Ghazwan al-Masri, was received by QC board member Abdulrahman Abduljalil Abdulghani.

Abdulghani welcomed the idea of holding such an exhibition, especially at a time when Qatar requires sophisticated technology in different fields.

More than 50 companies are expected to take part in the exhibition at the Qatar National Convention

Centre.

Besides catering to the growing demand for hi-tech equipment in the Middle East, the event is likely to enhance co-operation between Turkish businessmen and their GCC and Qatari counterparts.

MUSIAD has some 7,500 Turkish businessmen as members representing thousands of companies with around 1.5mn employees across Turkey.
