(MENAFNEditorial)

This week Ed Bernstein looks forward to interviewing the very talented Vincent Falcone.

Mr. Falcone is a Syracuse NY native whose musical interest was sparked at a very young age when he began studying classical piano at three years old.  As a teenager he became smitten with jazz and also took a liking to pop music. It was then that he had decided to base his life-long career off of these genres despite his classical training at Syracuse University.

Being part of multiple jazz bands he traveled around Europe until 1964. After that he returned to New York and continued to both study and perform music.

In the year 1970 Mr. Falcone came to Las Vegas Nevada and made his new home here.  For some time he worked as the pianist for Caesar’s Palace. It was there that his incredible talent was recognized by none other than Frank Sinatra himself. Before long Sinatra made the decision to employ Mr. Falcone as his pianist along with making him his head musical director for several years.

Mr. Falcone was also the musical director for Ronald Reagan’s inaugural gala in 1980. He has done similar work for many world-renowned performers such as Tony Bennett Pia Zadora Jerry Lewis and Paul Anka to name a few. In addition he has worked hand-in-hand with several key players in the jazz world.

Through the years he has gained experience in conducting orchestras of every size from symphony orchestras down to his own jazz trio “The Jazz Organization”.

The fascinating life of Vincent Falcone has brought intrigue by not only famous musicians but his fans as well which is why he published his first book in 2005. Entitled “Frankly Just Between Us” the book is a collection of his fond memories of working beside Frank Sinatra along with a few other artists.

Mr. Falcone still resides in Las Vegas and can be found sharing the stage with Bob Anderson in “Frank: The Man. The Music.” at The Palazzo Hotel Casino where he directs a 23-piece orchestra.
