UAE, Belgium to solidify economic ties


(MENAFN) The UAE and Belgian governments are set to improve economic ties, as Belgium eyes capabilities of supporting the economic growth of the UAE, Gulf News reported.

A constructive collaboration between the two countries is set to take place in the 21st century, the UAE minister of finance said as he was emphasizing on future prospects between the two countries.

According to the ministry, Belgium is ranked fifth as the most prime exporter of goods to the Emirates and the largest importer of goods from the UAE within the EU.

"The UAE is by far the most important trading partner in the Arab world as it is a base of stability, prosperity, development and progress," the minister said in a statement.
