Moroccan, Saudi kings discuss Yemen


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Moroccan King Mohammad VI and Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud discussed by phone on Thursday the latest developments of the situation in Yemen and other regional issues.

King Mohammad VI affirmed Morocco's full support to the Saudi-led coalition to restore legitimacy and stability in Yemen, according to a statement released by the Moroccan Royal Court.

He put the warplanes of the Moroccan Air Force, stationed in the UAE, at the disposal of the multi-national coalition.

On his part, King Salman expressed gratitude to the Moroccan monarch for his support to Saudi Arabia and the other GCC states.

On Wednesday Morocco announced solidarity with the Saudi Arabia in its efforts to stabilize Yemen and protect its own borders and security.
