Cloud Boot Camps for SMBs

(MENAFNEditorial) The Cloud Computing Association announced its 2015 series of three (3) one-day Cloud Computing ‘Boot Camps’ designed exclusively for small-to-middle-market businesses (SMBs) and their counterparts in government and healthcare whose responsibilities include evaluating purchasing and implementing cloud-based solutions.  The one-day boot camps will be held in Washington DC (June 23rd) Atlanta GA (September 17th) and Houston TX (November 19th).

COMPLIMENTARY REGISTRATION FOR FIRST 20 SMBs
“We are offering registration to business leaders from small-to-midmarket businesses and their counterparts in healthcare and government at nominal fees – only $95 per person until about one and a half months before each event ($195 per person thereafter) – but the first twenty (20) to apply BEFORE APRIL 15th and to qualify will be invited to attend as the CCA’s complimentary guests” said Don Buford Executive Director of the CCA.
To qualify to receive one of the 20 complimentary registrations business must be end-users or potential end-users of cloud-based solutions not a vendor of these solutions.  To request complimentary passes (one per company maximum) companies are asked to email Don Buford (donb@cloudcomputingassn.org) and to include their organization’s website URL so that qualifications can be verified.

> Benefits to SMBs of Attending:
SMB’s who have implemented or are contemplating the implementation or expansion of new cloud-based IT management solutions will:
• Meet face-to-face with and gain expert information from cloud solution-providers competing for their business.
• Gain insights into and compare and contrast the various cloud solutions to specific business functions.
• Learn about the latest trends in Big Data Mobile DevOps Internet-of-Things hybrid and private clouds and everything-as-a-service (XaaS)
• Experience live demos and have specific questions and concerns addressed in our exhibit area
• Network and compare notes and ‘war stories’ with peers from other SMBs in their region

“These boot camps are not like any other cloud computing conferences where vendors mainly speak to and meet with other vendors said Buford.  “These focused one-day events are for entrepreneurs business owners and their top management counterparts in healthcare and government” he added. The boot-camps are not designed to ‘sell’ to attendees but to provide them the opportunity learn about and to evaluate competing solutions and to ask and have questions answered by our expert member companies.  No pressure.

> Benefits to Cloud Solution Providers:
Cloud vendors may register to attend for only $795 until about a six weeks before each event ($995 thereafter) or if a more high profile role is of interest vendor companies may become CCA enterprise members by joining as sponsors and exhibitors at one or more of the Boot Camp events. As CCA Enterprise Members companies may post white papers and links to sponsored webinars on the CCA website for up to 12 months 24/7.
Various levels of sponsorship are available.  To learn more about becoming an event sponsor or exhibitor solution providers are encouraged to contact:
