(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY March 23: Scores of security guards working on a government contract and hired by private companies demonstrated in front of the Public Authority for Manpower in Jabriya to protest the non-renewal of their residence permits reports Al-Qabas daily.
The demonstrators said the company pays their salaries regularly and also provides accommodation but they fear the risk of being caught and deported since their residence permits have expired.
They added the company officials have told them to keep away from places where police erect checkpoints instead of solving their problem. Officials at the Authority have promised to investigate and to take action against the company.
