PEKANBARU March 23 2015—Central Board of Real Estate Indonesia (DPP REI) gives an award for Pekanbaru City as the best investment destination in Indonesia.
Chairman of DPD REI Eddy Hussy said the award is given to the city since its government provides various facilities to entrepreneurs including access to capital and licensing in property sector.
“Property business licensing in Pekanbaru is considered the easiest cheapest and fastest nationally” he said Sunday (3/22).
According to Eddy Pekanbaru City Government also provides guidance and assistance with various forms of relief and incentives.
He said these measures are still difficult to be applied in most of the regencial administrations and other cities in the country.
Likewise Chairman of Regional Board of Real Estate Indonesia (DPD REI) Riau Province Amran Tambi said the association obtains get various facilities for licensing in Pekanbaru.
“The city government supports us by issuing a variety of regulations that provide convenience such as licensing services that are easy and more complete” he added.
Moreover Pekanbaru City also becomes a strategic area for development of property business since it has a variety of advantages compared to other regions.
With such support from Pekanbaru City Government he is optimistic the prospect of property business in the region will increase and more attractive in the future.
Mayor Pekanbaru Firdaus said the city government is very grateful for the award from REI even though it is not their primary goal. Read more..
