(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A rise in temperatures is forecast on Monday; therefore the weather will be relatively cold in the hilly areas and mild in other parts of the country.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate with clouds at high and medium altitudes.

A further rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, creating fair conditions in most regions and warm in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba. Winds will be southeasterly to northwesterly moderate with clouds at medium and high altitudes.

As for Wednesday, the weather will remain warm in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba and mild in other parts of the country, the JMD forecaster said.

Winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly moderate with medium and high clouds.Meanwhile, the JMD warned of low visibility due to dust in some desert areas.

Temperatures in the capital for today will range between a high of 19 degrees Celsius and a low of 9 degrees.
