Qatar, Belgium to sign agreement for bolstering economic ties


(MENAFN) Belgium and Qatar are on the threshold of multiple new signings, aiming at improving economic and trade relations between the two countries, The Peninsula reported.

The volume of trade exchange between the two countries in 2014 exceeded USD1.29 billion in 2014. Qatar's exports of oil, gas and their derivatives in 2013 and 2014 totaled USD1.8 billion.

Qatar's minister of finance said the Qatari-Belgian Forum aims at pushing forward friendly relations between the two countries to more cooperation in all fields in order to increase the volume of trade.
