Jordan- Relatively cold weather forecast over next two days


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A weak depression affects the Kingdom today and the weather will be relatively cold in most parts of the country and fair in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), scattered showers are also expected, mainly in the central and northern parts of the Kingdom while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the deserts areas .

A rise in temperatures is forecast on Monday, creating fair conditions in most regions but it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with southwesterly to southeasterly moderate winds.

The JMD warns of low visibility especially in the desert areas due to dust and of slipping roads in the northern and central regions due to rain.

Temperatures in the capital for today will range between a high of 15 degrees Celsius and a low of 5 degrees.
