Work on hospital building nonstop


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY Dec 5: The Director of the Capital Health District Dr Tareq Al-Jassar has said the work on the new Amiri Hospital building is non-stop and to complete it on time.

He pointed out the project is in the initial stages and disclosed the completion period is 60 months which means the project should be completed by 2018. He mentioned the construction phase is 36 months and 24 months for the restoration of the old building. He stressed the project is considered a big advantage to the medical services provided for citizens and expatriates.

He also talked about the future projects saying three new medical centers are soon expected to be inaugurated as the district continues to organize many activities and programs. On a different issue the pediatric consultant at the International Clinic Center in Salmiya Dr Hassan Haikal warned about the propagation of bronchial crisis among children as the winter season sets in. He affirmed what is worse is most patients at the Pediatric Department at the center are suffering from this disease and as a result most children are affected
