Court orders Asian expat''s execution


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY March 15: The Public Prosecution released Hakim Al-Mutairi on KD 2000 bail over alleged offensive statement against Saudi Arabia during a TV interview. Case files indicate officers from the Ministry of Interior arrested Al- Murtairi for the alleged malicious statement in accordance with a directive from the Public Prosecution. This clarification refuted a rumor spread on the social media that he was arrested due to his call for a public gathering at Erada Square.

Court orders execution: The Criminal Court presided over by Judge Mohammed Ghazi Al-Mutairi ordered the execution of an Asian expatriate for stabbing his friend to death one year ago. The Public Prosecution accused the suspect of deliberately killing the victim clarifying that he stabbed the victim several times using a knife.
