According to the same sources a large number of expatriates were issued driving licences although they do not meet the required conditions and one of them is the profession.

The Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs Major-General Abdullah Al-Muhanna has asked for statistics of all licenses which were issued for professions other than those mentioned in the ministerial decision after it was discovered a large number of expatriates were given licences although they were not eligible.

The sources added a decision has been issued by Major-General Al- Muhanna to withdraw those licenses and to open an investigation to find out how these ''unqualified'' people got the licences. A security source confirmed the ministry is working to preparing a warrant against Bu-Yabes to convict him of humiliating and abusing Sheikh Hamdan through a tweet he published on his account.

The source said the memo will include pictures of the warbler site with tweets and submitted to the courts if a complaint is filed against the warbler. In this context the UAE ambassador to the country Rahma Hussein Al- Za''abi has denied the embassy has submitted a protest note to the Foreign Ministry on the offensive comments made against Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed by Bu Yabes.

He added the embassy does not need to take such action because it is confident officials in Kuwait will take appropriate action against those who have offended Sheikh Hamdan one of the leaders of the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council stressing on the depth of relations between Kuwait and the UAE.

In another development confusion at the Ministry of Electricity and Water may lead to disaster next summer reports Al-Shahed daily. While the Minister of Electricity and Water and Public Works Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim said the capacity of Al-Subbiya power plant will be increased 500 MW more and the same will be done to the South Al-Zour plant by the end of February nothing is seen on the ground.

Sources said these units are not operational according to the prepared schedule and this put pressure on the Subbiya power plant throwing it out of service and the Eastern and Western Doha stations are subject to the maintenance and it is expected that they will not be useful during the next summer.
