(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY March 10: Along with the GCC states thousands of US military personnel are executing drills in Kuwait says a press release from the US Central Command (CENTCOM). The statement added the ''Eagle Resolve'' exercise is the premier US multilateral drill within the Arabian Peninsula and some 3000 US military personnel representing US Central Command headquarters and its components including military representatives from more than a dozen other nations will support the exercise.
The drill started March 8 with the objective to stimulate multinational headquarters operations and tactical demonstrations of land maritime and air forces from several nations and will continue until March 31. The GCC states Bahrain Kuwait Oman Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates first participated in the Eagle Resolve drill in 1999 together with the United States in Tampa Florida reiterated the statement
