Record breaking 11 rigs berthed in Drydocks World Dubai

(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Drydocks World, the international service provider to the shipping, offshore, oil, gas and energy sectors, has simultaneously berthed 11 rigs in its Dubai yard. Drydocks World has continued to pursue its strategy to become one of the leading offshore yards in the region.

The Rig Division team has worked relentlessly to market the yard facilities, capabilities, safety records, quality and experience of staff specialised in maintaining the offshore rigs. During February, the yard set a new record of 9 rigs in the yard and only one month later Drydocks World has increased the number by over 20%, to 11 rigs.

Drydocks World has focused its efforts to cater to the offshore market and rig requirements through establishing a dedicated rig division. Drydocks World has set this record-breaking feat with repeated clients such as Saipem, Saudi Aramco, Shelf Drilling, Aban Offshore and the National Drilling Company.
