Jordan- Senate President, Hungarian parliament speaker discuss cooperation


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Senate President Abdul Raouf Rawabdeh, on Wednesday, received Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, Laszlo Kover, and an accompanying delegation.

Rawabdeh called for cementing cooperation between the parliaments of two countries which he said see eye-to-eye on a number of issues in the Middle East.

He briefed the Hungarian official on steps Jordan took to bring about comprehensive reform and shed light on the election, parties, municipalities and local administration laws.

Kover said that Jordan, despite regional turmoil, remained an oasis of security and stability, and commended the Kingdom's to fight against terrorism and host Syrian refugees.

Kover extended an invitation to the Senate president to visit Hungary.
