Aurelia Metals’ (ASX:AMI) drilling has extended high grade massive sulphide mineralisation at its Hera North discovery in central New South Wales.

Hera North is located outside the existing Hera Resource and remains open at depth.

Hole HRD061 intersected 9.5 metres at 3.1 grams per tonne gold 179g/t silver 17.5% lead and 12.7% zinc from 571.4 metres.

This is located 60 metres down plunge from the very high grade results received in hole HRD060 (3.65 metres at 39.7g/t gold 243g/t silver 19.2% lead+zinc).

The Hera-Nymagee Project consists of the high-grade underground Hera gold-lead-zinc-silver mine (Aurelia 100%) and the Nymagee copper deposit (Aurelia 95%).

First production commenced in the September 2014 Quarter while first concentrate shipments were made in the December 2014 Quarter.

The Hera Mine produces gold and silver doré bars by gravity and concentrate leach and also produces a high-grade bulk-lead-zinc concentrate for sale.

Aurelia is also evaluating the Nymagee copper deposit with a view to demonstrating an integrated development of the Hera and Nymagee deposits.
