(MENAFN- QNA) Jordanian King Abdullah II discussed on Wednesday with Arab Parliament Speaker Ahmad Al-Jarwan the latest developments in the region and counter- terrorism efforts.
During the meeting, King Abdullah stressed the need to boost efforts to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israelis, in order to reach an independent Palestinian state within a just and comprehensive solution, according to the official Petra news agency.
The King and Al-Jarwan also discussed the current situation in Syria, Iraq and Libya.
