GMC sales in Mideast up 19 per cent in February

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) GMC Middle East has posted a 19 per cent increase in year-on-year sales for the month of February. The brand attributes the growth to the popularity of its large, premium vehicles and a boost to the region's auto industry.

"The Middle East auto industry has seen healthy growth and we expect this to continue. We're pleased that our brand is contributing to this," said Maurice Williams, president and managing director of General Motors Middle East.

The UAE posted highest growth in the Middle East for GMC sales, with a 69 per cent increase compared to February 2014. Growth was strong in other countries - Kuwait (41 per cent), Lebanon (27 per cent), Bahrain (16 per cent), Saudi Arabia (11 per cent) and Oman (six per cent).
