LuLu hypermarket opens in Jubail


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Retail major LuLu Group has opened a new hypermarket in Jubail, an industrial city in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia, further boosting its retail presence in the Kingdom.

The new store was officially inaugurated by Badr bin Mohammed Al Otaishan, governor of Jubail, in the presence of Prince Saud bin Abdulla bin Abdul Aziz and Shaikh Fahad Al Muqbil.

Yusuff Ali MA, managing director, Saifee T Rupawala, CEO, Ashraf Ali MA, executive director, Althaf MM, director, Shehim Mohammed, regional director - central province, Muhamed Basheer, regional director - Eastern province, and other senior officials of LuLu Group were also present.

The new hypermarket, fifth in the Kingdom, is located at King Faisal Street in Jubail. Spread across 240,000 square feet, it features a fresh food section and an area dedicated to a department store which includes garments, electronics, IT products and home appliances.

The hypermarket also houses Sparkys, international jewellery chains like Malabar Gold and Joy Alukkas, Giordano, a food court offering Indian, Arabic and Filipino cuisine, fast food counters, coffee shops, perfume shops, mobile, watches and cosmetics shops, gift and accessories apart from ATMs and money exchanges.
