OIC Secretary General Receives Russian Federal Assembly Deputy Chairman
(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad bin Amin Madani received, here yesterday, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Ilyas Umakhanov, and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, they reviewed the regional and international issues of common interest between the two countries and means to promote bilateral cooperation.
For his part, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council emphasized his country's interest to continue strengthening bilateral relations with the Organization, hoping it plays a stronger role in the protection of Muslim minority.
