(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing two GCC women of swindling him, reports Al-Anba daily. In his complaint the man said he met a woman from a GCC country who looked pretty even though she was wearing the niqab. She reportedly told the Kuwaiti that her sister, who is prettier than her, was looking for a prospective husband.
The citizen said he met the two swindlers, and the sister actually looked very beautiful. So he took a decision to marry her and gave her KD 7,000 in dowry and jewelry worth KD 1,500, in addition to an Iphone 6 following which both women disappeared and with that his dream of getting married to a beautiful woman.
Lizards, turtles, serpents seized: Customs officers at Kuwait International Airport arrested two Kuwaitis who arrived from Germany with serpents, turtles, coleopterans, lizards and scorpions in their luggage. The officers inspected the passengers' luggage suspected to contain wildlife. Both citizens were referred to the concerned authority for legal action.
Asian thief electrocuted: An unidentified Asian died on the spot while attempting to steal electrical cables from electricity poles in Mina Abdullah, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added the man was electrocuted. The remains of the victim have been referred to Forensics.
