(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The United States-led international coalition has conducted a total of 17 airstrikes against Daesh terrorists in Syria and Iraq.
The US military said in a statement that five airstrikes were carried out in Syria around the cites of Kobani and Al Hasakah and destroyed four fighting positions for the terrorist group.
Another 12 airstrikes were staged in Iraq, the statement added.
The US-led coalition began last August air strikes aimed at eliminating the terrorist group in Iraq and Syria.
