Egypt, Poland trade exchange to reach USD1b by 2016


(MENAFN) The current trade volume between Egypt and Poland is USD400 million, with the two countries aiming at USD1b worth of trade by 2016, according to the Commercial Minister, Amwal Alghad reported.

The sum is set to be achieved through the mutual visits by business missions from the two countries, as well as the contracts that had been signed over the past few months, according to the minister.

Egyptian exports to Poland reached USD137.5 million in 2014, marking a USD7.5 million increase compared to the targeted rate, while the rate of Polish exports to Egypt recorded USD278 million, compared to USD275 million in 2013.
