Egypt's Amer Group logs USD32.3m net profit in 2014


(MENAFN) Egyptian real estate company Amer Group Holding Co recorded a USD32.3 million net profit in 2014, marking a 670 percent surge over 2013, Reuters reported.

The firm, which owns hotels, restaurants and malls, among other businesses, managed to outstandingly increase its net profit over the niggling USD4.18 million recorded in 2013.

Amer Group said there had been a turnaround in its hotel and restaurant divisions and double-digit increases in all five lines of its business.

"Going forward, our next push will see us further expand our geographical presence as well as diversifying our activities into the educational and health-care real estate segments," group Chairman said in a statement.
