Supporters Helped the Kickstarter Campaign Raise More than $2800 in Just One Week
Washington D.C. – March 12 2015 – The ButtFolio Kickstarter needs to raise $ 4200 by March 31st 2015 or the project cannot move forward. Their campaign is to raise funding to create the ButtFolio which is a coffee table book that will generate young onset colon cancer awareness. This unique book will have tasteful pictures of buttocks and a brief background on the individual.
The ButtFolio sheds light on something seldom spoken about among people in the nation. It aims to capture an individual's attention to generate quality conversation about what Colon Cancer is which is the second leading cause of cancer related deaths in the United States. Through these efforts it will encourage people to get checked and save lives in the process. Also for each book sold 20% of the proceeds will be donated to Colon Cancer Awareness.
“As you can see this is an awesome campaign to spread awareness and support for a leading cancer in the US” said Jeremiah Kirby a supporter of the ButtFolio. “The best part is that it starts the conversation amongst those who would normally be ‘too young to worry.' Most screenings start at 50 years old but there are many people as young as early 20's who develop colon cancer. By starting the conversation early it can save lives.”
Ben DeHan and Dustin Brians creators of the ButtFolio are two life-long best friends and business partners. DeHan and Brians hope this new out of the box way of shedding light on this horrible cancer will reach the younger demographic. Through this table book full of sophisticated photos of anonymous butts people will feel compelled to educate themselves on the facts and potentially save lives.
All funding raised will go towards photography editing printing and publishing. They plan to complete and print the ButtFolio by June 1st.
