Saudi National Campaign Provides Bread for Syrian Refugees in Lebanon


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Saudi National Campaign to Support Brothers in Syria began carrying out the first stage of its food program aiming at distributing bread for Syrian refugees, in various Lebanese regions, as bread is the basic item in the regional foodstuff, proceeding from the campaign commitment towards its humanitarian and religious duties against Syrian refugees, wherever they might be.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Director of the Campaign Office in Lebanon Walid bin Ali Al-Jalal pointed out that the program will be carried out among a programmed package launched by the Campaign, weeks ago, to meet the needs of Syrian brethren refugees, in Lebanon, at all levels, such as housing, seasonal, educational, food and medical related aspects.
Bread will be distributed on daily basis for Syrian refugees' families with limited income for 6-month, at a total cost of SR 250,000 per month.
