Greek bailout talks begin in Brussels

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Experts of the European Central Bank, the European Commission, and the International Monetary Fund began a meeting with Greek officials in Brussels on Wednesday afternoon on ways to unlock bailout funds for Athens.

A spokeswoman for the European Commission Mina Andreeva told reporters that "a Brussels Group on experts level is meeting here today," but she refused to give any more details.

"It is very important that these technical talks take place in a calm and unpolitical atmosphere so that the work can be done," she added.

"The topics will depend on recent developments and talks," she noted.
