Air Seychelles net profit grows to USD3.2m


(MENAFN) Air Seychelles, the national carrier of the Republic of Seychelles, posted a net profit for USD3.2 million for 2014, making a third consecutive year of profitability and an increase over last year's USD3 million profits, Gulf News reported.

Total revenues and passenger numbers each grew 20 percent with revenues reaching USD106.9 million, and passenger numbers at 412,088.

In 2012, Abu Dhabi's Etihad Airways acquired a 40 percent share in Air Seychelles, and implemented a turnaround plan to create a sustainable business.
