Canadian Quebecor logs USD39.6m adjusted income in Q4
(MENAFN) Canadian telecom and media conglomerate Quebecor Inc reported an adjusted income of USD39.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2014, marking a 3.5 percent increase, Reuters reported.
The increase in income is due to the strong demand in the firm's telecommunications and media businesses. The adjusted income for the same period in 2013 was registered at USD38.44 million.
Revenue rose nearly 3 percent, hitting USD782.59 million, while quarterly losses attributable to shareholders of USD47.06million were also recorded, compared with a year-ago profit of USD237,293 attributable to shareholders.
