Cambodia's construction sector investments hit USD2.5b


(MENAFN) Official data showed that Cambodia's construction sector attracted a total investment of USD2.5 billion in 2014, down 10 percent from USD2.77 billion in 2013, Xinhua reported.

The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction provided licenses to 1,960 construction projects last year, up 19 percent from 1,641 projects a year earlier.

"The construction sector remains one of the four pillars supporting the economy," minister of land management, urban planning and construction, was quoted by Cambodia's state-run Agence Kampuchea Press.
