Dubai Chamber exports to GCC hit USD48.99b in 2014


(MENAFN) Dubai Chamber members' exports and re-exports to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries were estimated at USD48.99 billion in 2014, the chamber said in a statement, Gulf News reported.

Saudi, per usual, topped the market, leading chamber exports with 54 percentage in 2014, Qatar accounted for 13 percent, Kuwait for 12 percent, UAE for 10 percent, Oman for 7 and Bahrain for 10 percent.

The report also revealed that Iran, with Saudi, was the largest export market for chamber members before implementing the harsh sanctions on Tehran because of its nuclear projects.
