(MENAFN) The Tourist Information and Research Center (MAS) showed that USD746.28 million was spent abroad by about 766,300 Saudi tourists with an average of USD962.4 per tourist, Arab News reported.
On the other hand, the number of tourists who visited Saudi during the same period amounted to 740,200 with a total spending of USD613.02 million with an average of USD835 per tourist.
According to a survey issued by MAS, Bahrain ranked first in terms of receiving Saudi tourists at 210,000, followed by Kuwait with 94,000 and the United Arab Emirates with 87,000.
