(MENAFN- QNA) HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani arrived in Algiers on Sunday evening on an official visit to Algeria to participate in the 32nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.
HE the Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport by HE Algerian Prime Minister Abdulmalik Sellal.
A number of Algerian Ministers, HE Qatar's Ambassador to Algeria Ibrahim Abdulaziz Al Sahlawi, Algeria's Ambassador to Qatar Abdulaziz Saba and members of the Qatari Embassy were present to welcome HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Upon his arrival HE the Prime Minister said: "I am pleased, at the outset of my visit to the sister Democratic People's Republic of Algeria, to express my happiness, pleasure and pride at the relations binding our countries as well as at meeting my brother HE Prime Minister Abdulmalik Sellal.
"My visit to Algeria reflects keenness on enhancing cooperation and developing relations in various fields to implement the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and his brother, HE President of Algeria Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
"There is no doubt that this visit will discuss and exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest."
