Saudi retail firms' sales hit USD7.64b in 2014


(MENAFN) Saudi sales of the listed retail firms increasing by 12.16 percent, hitting USD7.64 billion in 2014, against USD6.82 billion in 2013, Arab News reported.

Net profit of the 14-listed retail firms reached USD732.96 million, marking a 10 percent increase over the USD666.32 million of 2013.

According to the report, Market capitalization for the same companies stood at USD22.38 billion. The firms' capitals reached USD2.16 billion.

Al- Hokair & Co. logged the most bountiful capital at USD559.71 million, Jarir Marketing was second best at USD239.87 million, and the third was Al-Hamadi at USD199.89 million.
