Couple From Tulsa Creates a Compelling Story to Evoke the Lost Meaning of Christmas
Tulsa OK – March 4 2015 – Alicia and Bobby Butler have announced they have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise seed money for their children's storybook package “Ewe on a Pew.” The book and game combo aim to reset the focus on Christian holidays such as Christmas and Easter back to Christ. The goal is to raise $50000 by April 15th 2015.

“Ewe on a Pew” is about a lamb that witnesses the important birth of Christ and travels around the world spreading the message about the Savior's arrival. Alicia and Bobby hope the Ewe on a Pew will bring Christian families together and remember why these holidays are so important. It puts the focus back on the real reason behind why many celebrate these heavily commercialized holidays.

“You know how Christmas is such an exciting day for a kid with all the presents tinsels and lights. It is easy to forget the true meaning of Christmas” said creator Bobby Butler. “'Ewe on a Pew' is actually a really exciting and fun way to put the spotlight back on Jesus when it comes to celebrating those holidays.”

Each package includes a book and a stuffed Ewe on a Pew which parents can use to bring the message of Christ's birth into their home in fun and creative ways each morning in the weeks before Christmas. Ewe on a Pew is adaptable to the style of each family so while in one home the Ewe may be up to more fun or silly antics like taking a joy ride in Barbie's car in another home he may bring a more traditional message like a scripture verse from the Bible. No matter the style of household the Ewe on a Pew will serve as a fun and interactive reminder for children that Jesus is the reason for the season. The character can be used for other Christian celebrations such as Ash Wednesday Easter and other religious holidays. The cute lamb and his creative activities will get children excited and engaged to learn more about why this holiday is so special.

Timeline to release the product for Christmas 2015 is right on track. The second Easter edition will be released by Easter 2016. Trademark patent has been submitted. The manuscript is finished and the children's book is in the final stage of illustrations which will be done by middle of March.
